Anxiety is the body and mind's reaction to stress, uncertainty, or fear. It often feels like a heightened sense of alertness or worry, preparing you to face challenges. While occasional anxiety is normal, it can become problematic when it occurs frequently, feels intense, or arises without a clear reason.

How Does Anxiety Feel?

Anxiety can manifest both emotionally and physically. People may experience:

Emotional Signs: Constant worry or fear, A sense of dread or impending danger, Difficulty focusing or feeling overwhelmed, Restlessness or irritability

Physical Signs: A racing heart or palpitations, Shallow, rapid breathing or shortness of breath, Muscle tension or tightness, Sweating or trembling, Stomach discomfort or nausea

Why Does Anxiety Happen?

Anxiety is often linked to: Stressful life events or trauma, Uncertainty about the future, Chemical imbalances in the brain, Genetics or family history, Certain health conditions or medications.

When is Anxiety a Problem?

Anxiety becomes a challenge when:

-It persists for weeks or months.

-It interferes with daily tasks, relationships, or work.

-It causes avoidance of certain situations or activities.

-It feels disproportionate to the actual

-situation or threat.

How to Cope with Anxiety:

Practice Deep Breathing, Stay Grounded, Exercise, Seek support, Limit Stimulants.
